1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of this website (the "Website"), operated by GreyandGrema Carpets ("we," "us," "our"), and any purchase you make through it. By browsing the Website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

"You" / "customer" refers to the person browsing or ordering from the Website. "Products" refers to the carpets and rugs offered for sale.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under applicable law, to place an order on the Website.

4. Use of the Website

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes, and to provide accurate and complete information when browsing, contacting us, or placing an order. You must not use the Website in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it, or interfere with any other party's use of it.

5. Products

We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, images, and details accurately. Because our products include natural and handcrafted materials, slight variations in colour, pattern, texture, or size between what is shown on the Website and the item delivered may occur, and do not constitute a defect.

6. Product Availability

Products are offered subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities, discontinue a product, or correct listing errors at any time. If an item you order becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you to arrange a substitute, refund, or cancellation as appropriate.

7. Pricing

All prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦). We reserve the right to change prices at any time before an order is confirmed; changes will not affect orders already confirmed and paid for. Prices shown are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.

8. Promotions and Discounts

If promotional codes or discounts are offered, they will be subject to the terms stated at the time of the offer. Unless stated otherwise, offers cannot be combined and may be withdrawn at our discretion.

9. Orders and Order Acceptance

Placing an order through the Website is an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including where a product is unavailable, a pricing or listing error has occurred, or we suspect fraudulent activity. An order is confirmed only once payment has been successfully processed and verified; you will receive confirmation once this occurs.

10. Payment

Payments are processed securely through our payment processor, Paystack. Payment methods may include card, bank transfer, USSD, or other methods enabled by our Paystack account. All payments must be made in full, in Nigerian Naira, before an order is confirmed and processed.

11. Delivery

Delivery fees and timelines are communicated during checkout or via direct communication. We will make reasonable efforts to deliver your order within the communicated timeframe, but delivery times are estimates and may be affected by location, product availability, logistics disruptions, or unforeseen events.

12. Order Cancellation

You may request to cancel an order before it has been dispatched. Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation may not be possible; please contact us as soon as possible to discuss your options.

13. Returns and Refunds

We accept returns only for products that arrive damaged or defective. If you receive a damaged or defective product, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order details and photos of the issue. We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund at our discretion. For hygiene and quality reasons, we do not accept returns for change of mind.

14. Damaged or Defective Products

If your product arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and a description of the issue. We will review the matter and provide an appropriate resolution.

15. Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate contact and delivery information, and for being reasonably available to receive delivery at the address provided. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by inaccurate or incomplete information you provide.

16. Accounts

The Website currently operates on a guest-checkout basis without customer accounts. If account registration is introduced, separate terms will govern account creation and security.

17. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website — including text, images, graphics, logos, and design — is owned by or licensed to GreyandGrema Carpets and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use this content without our prior written permission, except as necessary to browse the Website and place an order in the ordinary course of use.

18. Third-Party Services

The Website relies on third-party services, including Paystack for payment processing and WhatsApp for order-related communication. Your use of these services in connection with the Website may also be subject to their own terms and policies.

19. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Website or purchase of products. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any right or protection you have under applicable Nigerian consumer protection law, including the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act, which cannot lawfully be excluded.

You agree not to: use the Website for any unlawful purpose; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website or its systems; interfere with the Website's security features; submit false or misleading order information; or use automated means (such as bots or scrapers) to access the Website without our permission.
